Vehicles must always be recognisable, even at night. An effective lighting system on the vehicle ensures that the licence plate is visible and can be clearly assigned to the owner.

As part of his master’s thesis, Daniel Karg worked on the design and layout of licence plate lights with various components. The aim was to compare different concepts, work out their advantages and disadvantages and identify their limitations.
